**About the Role**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic professional to lead our team of administrators within Ramsay Clinic Thirroul. This opportunity will see you responsible for providing effective management, leadership and direction to all administrative personnel, ensuring efficient operation of the front office area and provision of high level administrative and reception services to our site.

**Duties will include**:

- Manage all operational aspects of the front office, reception, switchboard, consulting suites, and admissions areas including active involvement in undertaking daily service requirements within these areas
- Provide support, assistance and leadership to staff as required
- Ensure that customer standards of the team are delivered in accordance with required standards
- Ensure all Health Fund checks and eligibility checks are done in an accurate and timely manner, adhering strictly to established policies and procedures
- Ensure the smooth operation of the outpatient consulting suites and adequate administrative support for the consultant psychiatrists
- Ensure efficient document control measures are maintained across the department
- Ensure that the administrative functions support the clinical functions, and all requests for service are undertaken and met in a timely manner

**You will also demonstrate**:

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in a medical environment
- Experience working with Patient Administration Software (preferably Meditech)
- Experience working with practice management software (preferably Bluechip)
- Knowledge of health fund contracting system
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office package)
- Knowledge of Private Health Care System
- Knowledge of Medicare and DVA gazettes and rule interpretation
- Knowledge of worker's compensation billing systems

**Desirable criteria**:

- Tertiary qualification in health management or related discipline or a proven record of success in managing a complex range of services in a health environment

**Remuneration**

**$32.67** + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Ramsay Clinic Thirroul is a 43-bed female patient only unit/day program (we do have male staff), providing a safe environment where women can deal with trauma-related mental health presentations via specific comprehensive recovery focussed programs.
