**What you'll deliver with us**

As our
**GCP Tech Lead**, you will focus on
**leading a team of software engineers** developing the GCP Cloud Platform. The role will be responsible for building and evolving Cloud Platforms with technical leadership in design, coding, and configuration. The role requires in-depth experience with GCP.

**You'll also**
- Have people leader responsibility for the GCP Platform Engineers.
- Work at a senior level across the engineering team, collaborating with architects, engineers, and customer experience experts.
- Have thought leadership and in depth experience implementing best practice automation on cloud and DevOps engineering techniques, to design and implement secure, simple, and impactful solutions.
- Be a software engineering designer and implementor where you champion innovative coding solutions and take the teams around you on the journey of software development.
- Be an expert in Cloud Platform technologies, primarily GCP but not limited too.

**You'll need**
- 3 years people leadership experience.
- ** Google Cloud Platform** technologies and services.
- Security and compliance engineering concepts.
- Proven experience within GCP building and supporting secure code pipelines, CI/CD, using gitlab.
- ** Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages** and an expert in some - golang, python preferred.
- 5 - 7 years demonstrated experience in developing and managing software/platform solutions.
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship building at all levels of the organisation.
- Drive new ways of working (Agile) across broader teams.
- Excellent communication skills, including ability to adjust communication to suit intended audience.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach during challenging times.
- Demonstrated history of influencing and driving self-initiated outcomes.
