Our direct client who is a global tech leader that's been powering digital transformations for decades. They work with some of the world's biggest names, helping businesses evolve with the best of what cloud and software have to offer is looking to hire a GCP Consultant.

This is initially a 6-month contract which is likely to extend and based in Melbourne.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Teaming up with architects, engineers, and cloud pros to deliver top-notch solutions using Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE)
  • Planning and executing the migration of workloads from VMware to GCVE
  • Weaving together GCVE with native GCP services like IAM, networking, and Cloud Ops
  • Solving pesky performance and connectivity issues before anyone even notices
  • Helping set up secure, reliable hybrid cloud environments (with disaster recovery and backups in the mix, of course)
  • Creating documentation, diagrams, and how-to guides like a true pro
  • Coaching client teams on how to run GCVE like champions

You'll totally thrive if you bring:

  • 2+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure or GCP consulting experience
  • Familiarity with GCVE (or at least VMware tech like vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, HCX)
  • Know-how in GCP networking—think VPCs, VPNs, firewalls, and interconnects
  • A love for automation—Terraform, Python, whatever gets the job done
  • Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD experience

Nice-to-haves that'll make you extra shiny:

  • GCP certifications (Cloud Architect or anything impressive-looking)
  • Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience
