About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to contribute to impactful outcomes in the Student Engagement, International & Community Partnerships department. You'll play a key role in delivering strategic and operational services aligned with Melbourne Polytechnic's values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project management functions including release management, testing, reporting, risk and change request management.
  • Collaborate with vendors, domain leads, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient implementation.
  • Own and manage the SMS implementation framework and ensure alignment with the overall project plan.
  • Coordinate delivery and release of solutions, ensuring traceability and resolution of issues and risks.
  • Manage contracts, onboarding, and resource allocation.
  • Support transition to BAU and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of SMS and CRM systems in the VET or HE sector.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
