About Us
Chemist Warehouse is Australia's largest pharmacy retailer with over 17,000 team members and more than 600 stores nationwide. Following our merger with Sigma Healthcare, we're now a Top 50 ASX-listed company with expanding operations across New Zealand, Ireland, and China.
Together, we're transforming healthcare and retail with industry-leading distribution, technology, and people practices — and we want you to be part of this journey.
Job Description
We're looking for an Identity Project Manager to join our Cyber Security team and play a key role in delivering a range of identity and cybersecurity projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with 2–4 years of project management experience who's ready to take ownership of end-to-end project delivery in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
In this role, you'll plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple cyber initiatives — from technology implementations and process improvements to compliance and risk remediation projects. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to keep projects on track, ensure alignment with organisational priorities, and maintain a strong focus on quality, timelines, and outcomes.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver identity and access security initiatives such as IAM, IGA and PAM uplift projects.
- Manage end-to-end delivery across multiple cyber projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time and within scope.
- Work closely with Cyber, IT and Business stakeholders to define project goals, deliverables and success criteria.
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to support effective project execution.
- Monitor and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring appropriate governance and documentation.
- Provide clear and timely reporting to leadership and stakeholders on progress, risks and key decisions.
- Support budgeting, resource planning and procurement activities related to assigned projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cybersecurity delivery frameworks and project management practices.
About You
- Degree in Information Technology, Business Systems or a related field (industry certifications in cyber or project management a plus).
- 2-4 years' experience delivering IT or cybersecurity projects, ideally with exposure to identity platforms like Okta or Microsoft.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Confident working with challenging stakeholders — skilled in managing conflict, driving accountability, and keeping teams aligned through clear communication and documentation.
- Excellent communicator who can translate technical detail into clear business outcomes and influence at all levels.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and sound commercial judgment.
- Comfortable working in a developing, foundational environment and helping shape processes and frameworks as the organisation matures.
- Highly organised, proactive and collaborative, with a hands-on approach and openness to new ideas.
Benefits
- Career growth and development opportunities in a supportive and collaborative working environment
- Access to discounts across all our affiliated brands, as well as other retail partnerships
- Subsided café on-site
- Free annual flu vaccinations
- Access to EAP
