Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking an SMS Test and Data Migration Specialist to support the effective delivery of functional testing and data migration services for the implementation of a new Student Management System (SMS). This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or support key business functions in SMS testing and data migration.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to improve operations and services.
- Support implementation of testing procedures, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to compliance, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports aligned to internal and regulatory standards.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Project Management, Business, or IT.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Organised and detail-oriented with a solutions mindset.
- Experience in test management and data migration for large enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with SMS and CRM systems in the VET or HE sector is advantageous.
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
