About the Role

Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking an SMS Test and Data Migration Specialist to support the effective delivery of functional testing and data migration services for the implementation of a new Student Management System (SMS). This is a great opportunity to contribute to strategic projects, drive operational improvements, and support collaborative team success in a purpose-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead or support key business functions in SMS testing and data migration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to improve operations and services.
  • Support implementation of testing procedures, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to compliance, quality, and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports aligned to internal and regulatory standards.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Project Management, Business, or IT.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Organised and detail-oriented with a solutions mindset.
  • Experience in test management and data migration for large enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with SMS and CRM systems in the VET or HE sector is advantageous.
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
