About the Role
• Manage the delivery of public infrastructure projects that shape vibrant, sustainable communities.
• Design and implement strategies to meet timelines, budgets, and environmental goals.
• Build strong partnerships with contractors, consultants, and community stakeholders.
• Develop clear project plans, reports, and tools that drive transparency and accountability.
• Lead innovation in how Council delivers spaces that matter to people.
Skills & Experience
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in building, park infrastructure or engineering, with strong experience in managing complex projects from start to finish.
• Strong project delivery experience across large-scale infrastructure or public works.
• Strong skills in analysis, problem-solving, and investigation to manage project complexities.
• Confidence managing contractors and consultants, with a track record of driving results.
• Sharp eye for detail when reviewing plans, budgets, and technical documents.
• Solid financial acumen to cost projects accurately and keep spending on track.
• Understanding of environmental impacts and how to manage risks like contamination.
• Clear communication skills to advise teams and lead stakeholder discussions.
• Commitment to achieving positive social and sustainable outcomes throughout the project ensuring decisions benefit the community
