Qualifications & experience

  • Our team are seeking a passionate, results-driven, dynamic leader with a firm background in pubs, nightclubs, beverage, and promotions. A minimum of 4-5 years of experience is desired.
  • You will be able to confidently interpret budgets, wage costs, job budgets, and reports, and implement strategies to manage costs and maximise revenue for the business efficiently.
  • Must have permanent Australian work rights

Tasks & responsibilities

  • The Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day management, overseeing junior managers, staff training, rostering, security, compliance, and executing promotions and functions.
  • Your key KPI's are to drive turnover, maintain wages, improve GP% and positively promote the venue to attract and retain patrons.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and venue management software
  • Experience with staff scheduling and roster management systems
  • Experience managing teams of 40+ staff across multiple departments
  • Proven track record in venues with $6-8M+ annual turnover

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
