This position will be a Full-Time Permanent role based in either Brisbane or Bundaberg.
A Day in the Life:
As a Desktop Analyst, you will be at the forefront of user requests and incidents, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution. Your responsibilities will include managing end-user hardware, supporting the end user standard operating environments, and contributing to our knowledge base for effective problem resolution. You'll thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to technological changes and upholding high service level standards.

With a solid technical foundation, you must demonstrate a strong understanding of end-user IT hardware and proficiency in IT Service Management systems. The role involves providing first-level support to over 700 end users, requiring excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with team members and stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships. Time management is crucial for efficiently handling the day-to-day allocation of equipment, contributing to patching and lifecycle management, and prioritising tasks effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving, adaptability to technological changes, and a professional demeanour in person and on the phone are essential. You will also play a vital role in advocating for IT Services and contributing to the ongoing development of the team. The position requires flexibility to provide first-level support during standard business hours, emphasising the need for a well-rounded and adaptable skill set.
