Our client, a rapidly growing, PE-backed corporate, is looking to appoint a highly analytical and commercially minded Risk Associate to join their Corporate Development team. In this high-impact role, you'll work closely with senior leadership, including the CFO, to analyse, forecast, and manage key risk-related metrics for the business. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual with actuarial or quantitative experience to gain exposure to commercial decision-making at the C-suite level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep data analysis to uncover insights into factors affecting financial, insurance and operational risk
  • Present trends and actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Deliver monthly performance reports for senior management and the board
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5+ years of experience in a similar role (risk analysis, actuarial, corporate finance, or financial modelling)
  • Degree-qualified in Actuarial Science, Finance, Maths, or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial acumen and highly numerate
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills with confidence to engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex data into concise, actionable insights
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
