We're on the lookout for a compassionate Occupational Therapist (1+ years' experience) to join our growing start-up as a contractor supporting our amazing NDIS community.

We are a new allied health provider working across Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs —so it's a fantastic time to jump on board and grow with us

You'll be working from home, planning your own schedule, and visiting participants in the community when needed. With a mixed caseload, no two days will be the same - and that's part of what makes the role so rewarding.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting a diverse mix of participants with a range of functional, cognitive, and physical needs
  • Conducting comprehensive, participant-led assessments both remotely and during home visits
  • Developing and implementing tailored, evidence-based intervention plans focused on building daily living skills, independence, and quality of life
  • Recommending assistive technology, functional capacity evaluations, and home modifications to support participant goals
  • Preparing clear and detailed NDIS reports that advocate for participants and support funding applications
  • Collaborating with families, support coordinators, and other allied health professionals to provide holistic, person-centred care
  • Managing your own caseload and schedule with full flexibility
  • Staying committed to your professional development, keeping up with current practices and evolving participant needs
  • Communicating clearly and compassionately—whether in person or in writing

What You'll Need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • 1+ years of clinical experience, ideally including work with NDIS participants
  • A strong understanding of functional assessments, assistive technology, and home modifications
  • A genuine love for supporting others and building real connections
  • A solid understanding of the NDIS and how to support participants within the scheme
  • A current Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • A National Police Check
  • A Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening and completion of the NDIS Orientation Module
  • An ABN (Australian Business Number) for billing purposes
