About the Business and Role

Community OT is seeking part time Occupational Therapists to join our established therapy team to assist with OT assessments for a range of clientele.

Therapists are supported by experienced Senior Occupational Therapy staff and a full-time administrative team.

Therapists work on a contract basis with flexible hours, determined by the therapist's preferred workload (there are no KPIs related to billable hours).

The range of referrals and client locations varies, we are primarily looking for OT's in the Northern Metropolitan areas at present however there is also work available on the Mornington Peninsula, Western and outer South East and Gippsland areas.

Predominant workload at present is within the aged care package and NDIS domains however support will be provided to expand the workload beyond this to include TAC, DVA, self funded or Worksafe clientele, if desired by the successful OT's.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Complete Home Assessments for a range of clients from a variety of different Aged Care Package referrers and make recommendations based on the findings from those visits.

Skills and experience

Clinical experience working in rehabilitation in either an inpatient or community-based setting. Experience in aged care, home care packages and NDIS also favourable.

Preference for experience in Palliative care for Mornington Peninsula and Bayside applicants.
