Senior Systems Administrator

Location: Brisbane, QLD (Hybrid)
On behalf of our client, a leading government-focused consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator for an initial 12-month contract. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Brisbane-based professional to join a high-performing team and play a critical part in supporting a large-scale Windows Server Infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for the department's Windows Server Infrastructure.
 - Act as a technical advisor to clients and other technical resources.
 - Produce high-quality documentation, processes, and reports in line with departmental standards.
 - Participate in team support rosters, including after-hours and on-call duties.
 - Ensure the server infrastructure operates without fault.
 
Mandatory Skills & Experience:
- Expert-level experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
 - Extensive experience with Azure B2C and ADFS.
 - High level of proficiency with Powershell Scripting.
 - Demonstrated experience with ITIL-modelled Change and Release Management in a large enterprise setting.
 
Essential Skills:
- A high level of experience in writing clear and concise technical documentation.
 - Experience administering Microsoft Office 365.
 
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager.
 - Experience with C#.
 - Familiarity with Microsoft Conditional Access and Security Compliance methodologies.
 - Relevant Microsoft certifications.
 
Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 50% on-site work at our client's office on George Street, Brisbane. Please note that on-call duties are required on a rotational basis.
