Senior Systems Administrator - 12 Month Contract

Location: Brisbane, QLD (Hybrid)

On behalf of our client, a leading government-focused consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator for an initial 12-month contract. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Brisbane-based professional to join a high-performing team and play a critical part in supporting a large-scale Windows Server Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support for the department's Windows Server Infrastructure.
  • Act as a technical advisor to clients and other technical resources.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, processes, and reports in line with departmental standards.
  • Participate in team support rosters, including after-hours and on-call duties.
  • Ensure the server infrastructure operates without fault.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

  • Expert-level experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
  • Extensive experience with Azure B2C and ADFS.
  • High level of proficiency with Powershell Scripting.
  • Demonstrated experience with ITIL-modelled Change and Release Management in a large enterprise setting.

Essential Skills:

  • A high level of experience in writing clear and concise technical documentation.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Office 365.

Highly Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager.
  • Experience with C#.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Conditional Access and Security Compliance methodologies.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications.

Working Arrangements: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 50% on-site work at our client's office on George Street, Brisbane. Please note that on-call duties are required on a rotational basis.
