Our client is well known in the state government sector, seeking a SOE/SCCM specialist to join the team. The role will support large-scale government environments and focus on the
d
elivery, uplift, and ongoing support of enterprise Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) across complex, high-availability systems.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deploy and manage SOEs using
    MECM/SCCM
    (OS deployment, application packaging, software updates).
  • Support and administer
    Windows 10/11, Active Directory (Group Policy), and Horizon VDI
    environments.
  • Maintain and enhance desktop operating system images across physical and virtual platforms.
  • Provide expert technical support and advice in an enterprise environment.
  • Contribute to projects including customer onboarding, solution design, and piloting new technologies.
  • Mentor junior staff and drive improvements across infrastructure, processes, and tools.

About you:

  • Proven experience with
    MECM/SCCM
    for enterprise SOE deployment and management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of
    Active Directory
    and
    Group Policy Management
    .
  • Skilled in supporting
    Windows 10/11
    and virtual desktop environments.
  • Experience with ITSM/ITIL processes (change, incident, and problem management – ideally ServiceNow).
  • Highly regarded: Microsoft 365 tenant administration, Windows Server, PowerShell scripting.
