Electrical Manager

  • Gold Coast location

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with electrical experience to advance your career in our electrical switchboard manufacturing company.

We look for staff that are hard-working, dedicated, loyal and who want to make a career in the electrical switchboards industry.

The role:

  • Oversee all operations of switchboard manufacturing
  • Project manage
  • Communicate with management, tradespeople, apprentices, customers and suppliers
  • Build and maintain customer relationship's to a high level ensuring a clear understanding of client needs/requirements
  • Manage client satisfaction and progress
  • Procurement of switchgear for projects to ensure all products are delivered to workshop to meet deadlines
  • Ensures multiple projects are running well and on time
  • QA testing of all switchboards produced
  • Monday to Friday – with overtime available
  • Fast paced working environment

The person:

  • Electrical license
  • Thorough knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations
  • Ability to lead and manage tradesmen and apprentices
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of or experience in electrical switchboards
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Hard working, reliable and motivated
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Able to prioritise tasks
  • Transport to and from work
  • Ability to work overtime when required
