Position objectives

As a senior member of the project development team, you will take carriage of multiple projects at late stage development (all targeting financial close within a 12-18 month timeframe). With overall leadership responsibilities for the projects you will lead schedule, budget, management of project teams and interface closely with the commercialisation team to ensure viable project economics.

You

  • Ideally over 5 years development experience for renewable energy and / or energy storage projects (end to end development and ideally with exposure to late stage development)
  • Understanding of core project economics - IRR, available revenue / contracting options, and how renewable energy projects are financed (due diligence processes run by financiers)
  • Detailed exposure to project development budgets, leading assumptions and making relevant amendments to key risks and critical path
  • Good appreciation of technical requirements of projects and how they relate to securing key development milestones and negotiating key contracts
  • Highly driven, entrepreneurial, lateral thinker, good market / NEM knowledge to understand key trends and risks associated with developing & financing projects
