About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage BTR developments across the full lifecycle - from feasibility and planning through to design, construction, and settlement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage BTR projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget management, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Drive the full development lifecycle, including feasibility, design, planning approvals, construction, and handover.
  • Oversee Development Applications (DAs) and liaise with councils, authorities, consultants, and contractors to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and review feasibility studies, financial models, and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
  • Monitor budgets, programs, and cost reports, providing updates to senior management.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards and in line with company objectives.

About You:

  • 5–10+ years' experience in residential development, ideally in BTR or owned and operated projects; strong apartment or Build-to-Sell (BTS) experience considered.
  • Proven track record across the full development lifecycle, from feasibility to construction handover.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Experienced in leading teams, managing consultants/contractors, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Property, Construction, Planning, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and an excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
