Are you a qualified Cabinet Maker with leadership experience, looking to take the next step in your career—without giving up work-life balance?

Leongatha Kitchens & Bathrooms is a family-owned, award-winning design, building and manufacturing company with a reputation for quality and craftsmanship. Servicing beautiful South Gippsland and Bass Coast, we create custom kitchens, bathrooms, interiors and alfresco joinery, as well as a national range of cabinets for retail and trade. We're on the lookout for a motivated, reliable Leading Hand Cabinet Maker to join our team.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety:

  • Factory & On-Site Work (50%) – Cabinet construction, joinery assembly, installations, and working with top machinery (Biesse CNC router, Biesse edge banders, Altendorf panel saw, forklift).
  • Leadership & Training (35%) – Leading a small team of cabinet makers and apprentices, quality control, coordinating tasks, solving bottlenecks, and ensuring high standards.
  • Office/Factory Management Pathway (15%+) – Opportunities to step into CNC programming, scheduling, stock ordering and factory coordination. (We'll train the right person if you're keen to grow into this side of things.)

What we're looking for:

· A qualified Cabinet Maker with solid hands-on experience

· Strong installation and joinery skills with attention to detail

· Confidence in reading and working from plans

· White Card, forklift licence, reliable transport

· Someone who works well independently but also enjoys leading and mentoring others

Pay & Benefits

Remuneration in line with the Joinery and Building Trades Award [MA000029], based on experience and qualifications.
