South Gippsland Septic Tank Cleaning is expanding, and we're looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our growing team.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated team member to join us on a casual or part-time basis, with potentially full-time hours available.

You will assist with a range of tasks, including:

  • Routine servicing and maintenance of residential and commercial septic and wastewater systems
  • Operation of vacuum trucks for septic pump-outs, liquid waste, grease traps, industrial waste and clearing blockages
  • Basic plumbing work and occasional installation of treatment equipment
  • Conducting site reports, service records, and using app-based systems for job documentation
  • Providing a high level of customer service and building strong client relationships

This is a physically active and varied role that requires common sense, initiative, and a willingness to get your hands dirty.


What We're Looking For
  • Mechanically minded (essential)
  • Experience in liquid waste removal, wastewater systems, or plumbing (highly regarded)
  • Minimum MR License (essential)
  • Physically fit – able to lift, kneel, bend, and perform manual tasks
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving ability
  • Reliable, independent, and able to manage daily schedules
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude
  • Comfortable using iPads and app-based job systems
  • Flexible availability and clean driving history
