About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide essential care and support to our NDIS clients. This role involves 8-10-hour shifts per day, with weekend work and inactive overnight starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities, such as music, writing, and social participation.
  • Assist with client transportation, ensuring safe travel within a 20km radius of their location.
  • Monitor client progress and provide ongoing support as needed.

Requirements:

Preferably have an ABN (Australian Business Number) however not required

Previous experience in disability support and seizure care

Valid driver's licence & own vehicle (for participant commutes).

Compliance Requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid & CPR Certification
  • National Police Check
  • Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Schedule & Availability:

  • Shift Work Options: 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts at least 3 shifts a week availability
  • Flexible schedule, including morning, day, afternoon
  • Rotating roster with weekend availability.
