Why This Role Rocks
  • Flexible independent work arrangements
  • A mix of support and shared experiences, not just routine tasks
  • The chance to combine your own interests with meaningful work
  • Make a positive impact while enjoying the best of Melbourne's music and lifestyle

If you're someone who can combine strength, reliability, and a sense of fun, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

You'll work 1:1 with an NDIS participant, supporting them at home and in the community. This role blends practical daily assistance with fun, interest based activities. From hitting the gym to checking out Melbourne's rock/metal scene on a Friday night.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing personal care and daily living support
  • Driving to activities, appointments, and longer day trips
  • Supporting gym sessions and other physical activities
  • Assisting with safe manual handling
  • Building rapport and supporting social participation

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person centred support based on individualised plans.
  • Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, mobility, and social participation.
  • Promote client independence and support informed decision-making.
  • Build respectful, empowering relationships with clients, families, and carers.
  • Foster inclusive, safe, and positive environments.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and uphold NDIS and company codes of conduct.
About You

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Compassionate, patient, and committed to person-centred support
  • Energetic, adaptable, and open to new experiences
  • Skilled in building positive and trusting relationships
  • Respectful of diversity, with a strong commitment to inclusion and empowerment
  • Professional, reliable, and responsive to client needs

We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

What You'll Need
  • A cover letter explaining more about who YOU are, including availability, any languages you have other than English and what caring means to you.
  • Valid ABN and Public Liability Insurance
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) – required
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check – required
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates – required
  • Proficient in English communication (written and verbal)
  • Working with Children Check (if applicable to role)
  • Current Australian driver's licence and comprehensive car insurance (if transport assistance is required)
  • 100 points of ID (passport, driver's licence, Medicare/debit/credit card)
  • Previous experience in caring for someone within your own family, disability, aged care, or community services (highly regarded)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Good physical fitness and safe manual handling skills
  • Ability to build genuine, respectful connections
  • Flexibility for some evening shifts (especially Fridays)
What Landmark Offers
  • A meaningful, rewarding role where you make a real difference
  • Opportunities for professional growth and learning
  • A supportive and inclusive team environment
