JGA Saddler is a specialist dispute resolution firm founded by senior litigators with over 80 years of combined experience. Our directors have led some of Australia's most complex and long-running litigation against the largest corporation in the world.

We are passionate about justice, driven by achieving great results for our clients, and focused on mentoring the next generation of great litigators. Our work includes large-scale class actions, administrative roles in settlement schemes, and challenging financial and corporate disputes.

About the Role

As part of our Class Actions and Dispute Resolution teams, you will:


• Work on complex and socially significant class actions across Australia and New Zealand, including matters against Tesla, Johnson & Johnson, BHP Group, Rio Tinto and State and Commonwealth governments.


• Collaborate closely with senior partners and directors, gaining direct mentorship


• Contribute to strategy, drafting, case management and client engagement


• Prepare court documents, legal analysis, and precedent resources


• Support team training, internal systems, and quality assurance initiatives

You will be recognised for your contribution and supported to grow technically and professionally in a collaborative and flexible work environment.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for a lawyer with:


• 1–3 years' post-admission experience, ideally in litigation


• Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills


• Attention to detail, analytical rigour and commercial awareness


• A client-first mindset focused on client outcomes and a genuine passion for legal and social outcomes


• The ability to manage competing deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment


• A collaborative approach and willingness to support and mentor others
