About the Role

This role leads the Health & Safety agenda across Origin's Asset Services Field Health & Safety team. You'll provide strategic guidance, mentor a team of health and safety professionals, and work closely with operational leaders to drive improvements in safety culture, performance and compliance. You'll have the opportunity to shape health and safety strategies, implement Origin's HSE framework, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety management programs.
  • Coach, mentor and support the IGAS HSE team, ensuring consistent and proactive field support.
  • Partner with senior leaders to embed Origin's HSE strategy, policies and systems across operations.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management, regulatory compliance and safety culture.
  • Oversee incident investigations, audits and assurance processes, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across business units to drive consistent HSE outcomes.

About You

You're an experienced health and safety professional who brings strong leadership, technical knowledge and a passion for driving cultural change. You're confident working with senior stakeholders, influencing strategy, and leading teams to deliver measurable improvements.

You'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in HSE leadership, risk management and compliance.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating work activities across multiple rosters and different scopes of work.

  • Proven ability to coach and influence leaders and frontline teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
