About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, this role is responsible for developing and delivering high-quality business improvement strategies that enhance organisational performance and service delivery across both the City and the community. You'll provide expert advice, shape strategy, and lead initiatives that align with the City's long-term vision and corporate goals.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant qualifications or substantial experience in a similar role.
Selection Criteria
- Proven high level communication and interpersonal skills together with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of organisational planning and strategy development concepts.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of contemporary integrated planning and reporting frameworks.
- Demonstrated high level research, analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to share knowledge across organisational departments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of research techniques and use of data to drive performance and inform decisions.
- High level organisational and prioritising skills together with the capacity to utilise initiative in a demanding environment.
- Proven well developed written communication skills with the ability to prepare documents of a sensitive nature.
- Understanding of policy development and evaluation frameworks.
- Extensive experience in developing strategies and plans to support strategic and corporate goals (desirable).
- Substantial experience in project planning, management and review, including the ability to handle multiple competing tasks (desirable).
- Possession of, or progress towards tertiary qualifications in business or related discipline (desirable).
Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight, with an option for a fortnightly or monthly rostered day off.
About the Benefits
The salary range for this position is $117,312 - $124,869 p/a (depending on qualifications and experience), plus superannuation. Benefits include flexible work arrangements, free parking, a generous superannuation co-contribution scheme, annual industrial agreement salary increases, annual leave accrual which attracts an additional 17.5% leave loading, personal leave accrual, free access to online learning, and discounted memberships at City owned facilities.
