About the Role

As the Corporate Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and smooth operation of our pantry service onsite at multiple client offices across the CBD. You will manage inventory, coordinate with vendors, and ensure the pantry is well-stocked with a variety of fresh and high-quality food items. Your passion for exceptional service and strong organizational skills will contribute to creating a positive experience for our valued clients.

You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of service standards, as well as process optimisation.

This role would suit someone with a background in hospitality, service and looking for a step into the corporate market (including corporate hours/days) .

Key Responsibilities

Operational Performance & KPIs

  • Take ownership of key operational KPIs including stock availability, supplier service levels, and wastage reduction.
  • Ensure Pantry customers consistently receive high service standards that foster satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and track usage patterns to optimise stock levels.
  • Implement and maintain effective stock control systems to minimise waste and maximise efficiency.

Customer Onboarding & Experience

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring smooth operational setup, clear communication of expectations, and successful service launch.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming pantry environment to enhance the customer experience.

Process Development & SOPs

  • Support the design, optimisation, and documentation of operational workflows and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement service enhancements and operational improvements.
  • Monitor and enforce food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in pantry management or a similar food service role.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and work independently.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications in food service management or hospitality are advantageous.
