The opportunity

Our Brisbane team is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator that can work independently and coordinate and manage our day-to-day warehouse operations. The role reports to a supporting Operations Manager and comes with a competitive package and a great team environment.

This opportunity will suit someone with warehousing and forklifting experience that is looking for a role where they can work independently with minimal supervision.

Your responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensure the smooth day to day functionality of all warehouse operations, such as: Picking and packing, management of inbound and outbound freight (including forklifting), daily entries and updates to our Warehouse Management System, pallet control and coordination with the wider operations team, our drivers and our clients.
  • Drive a WHS focused warehouse, ensuring policy, procedure and safe work practices are always adhered to.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment and machinery is regularly maintained in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Coordinate, book and perform client freight booking requirements.
  • Manage labour hire staff in periods of high workload.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Warehousing and forklifting experience (preferably minimum 2 years).
  • MS office and Warehouse Management System experience – we use Carton Cloud.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously and independently with little supervision.
