Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Marketing Specialist to promote the organisation, its programs and services.

The Opportunity

In this role you will play a key role in driving impactful marketing, raising awareness, engaging and building relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating marketing campaigns involving specialised activities, such as artwork, copywriting, media scripting, video production and media placement, within time and budget constraints to support the organisation's goals

  • Organising events, programs and activities to support community growth, connection and skill development

  • Develop and set pricing strategies for events, ensuring alignment with budget goals, target audience, and overall value proposition

  • Building and developing relationships with key stakeholders – government, community and industry

  • Collaborating on branding and advertising strategies to reach target markets, creating consumer awareness and effectively promoting the attributes of the organisation and its programs

  • Promoting the organisation's work and engaging the community in conversations, campaigns, marketing and more

  • Supporting business growth and development through the preparation and execution of marketing objectives, policies and programs

  • Facilitating advice for the organisation and its clients on all elements of marketing such as product mix, pricing, advertising and distribution channels

  • Collecting and analysing data and other statistical information to:

(i) Monitor performance of initiatives and provide regular reporting

(ii) Identify market opportunities for new and existing programs

  • Recommending updates to digital content to improve metrics and results

About You

  • Hold relevant qualifications in Media studies, marketing and communications

  • Relevant experience as a Marketing Specialist/Marketing Manager

  • Strong awareness of digital marketing and social media platforms

  • Ability to analyse insights to report on visitation and the success of a campaign

  • Outstanding communication skills with experience in content creation, campaign execution and market research

  • Experienced with events marketing and events management

  • Highly developed business development and relationship-management skills

  • Experience in the region and established relationships with local network and community
