Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives? Pink Ribbon Community Supports Australia is seeking a compassionate and experienced SIL Coordinator to join our team and oversee our Supported Independent Living operations.

Position Overview

As SIL Coordinator, you will be responsible for the strategic coordination of all SIL operations, from property sourcing to participant matching and ongoing management. This senior role requires someone with proven SIL management experience who can ensure high-quality, person-centred care delivery across multiple properties while maintaining NDIS compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Property & Service Development:

  • Source and evaluate appropriate SIL accommodation properties to meet participant needs
  • Conduct property assessments to ensure suitability for SIL services
  • Coordinate property setup and ensure compliance with NDIS SIL requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with property owners and real estate agents

Participant Coordination & Matching:

  • Assess participant needs and preferences for SIL placements
  • Match participants to appropriate SIL properties based on compatibility and support requirements
  • Coordinate participant onboarding processes and transition planning
  • Liaise with families, support coordinators, and allied health professionals
  • Ensure participant goals and NDIS plan objectives are met

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations across all SIL properties
  • Manage and support Team Leaders at each SIL property
  • Ensure consistent delivery of person-centred supports aligned with NDIS standards
  • Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate incident management and reporting across properties

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise Team Leaders
  • Provide ongoing coaching and professional development support
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage staff development plans
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels across all properties
  • Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture

Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all documentation meets NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
  • Coordinate audits and quality assurance processes
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress and service delivery
  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies
  • Stay current with NDIS regulations and industry best practices

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience managing SIL services
  • Certificate III or higher in Disability, Community Services, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience in property sourcing and accommodation assessment
  • Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators, and SIL regulations
  • Proven leadership and team management experience in disability services
  • Experience in participant matching and compatibility assessment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities
  • Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Office and relevant software
  • NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid & CPR, Police Clearance
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
