The JV Crash Automotive Group is looking for a confident and capable HR Business Partner (HRBP) & Return to Work Coordinator (RTW) to collaborate with our Operational Teams and Site Managers, comprises currently 6 locations trading as JV Crash Repairs Wingfield, JV Crash Repairs Regency, Regal Crash Repairs, Lockleys & Findon Crash Repairs, M E Dale Crash Repairs and MEC Crash Repairs.
The HR Business Partner & Return to Work Coordinator will work across all 6 sites any new sites that are acquired in the future. This is a self-driven role for a confident self-motivated individual who wants to assist in driving workplace change.
The role will be based at JV Crash Regency. A work vehicle will be provided for use as travel is required between sites.
About the Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will work closely with Operational Teams and Site Managers to deliver practical and strategic HR support. Responsibilities include:
- Management complex Employee Relations matters including investigations, grievances, performance management, and misconduct
- Providing expert guidance on Industrial Relations matters including consultation, award interpretation, and workplace compliance
- Talent Acquisition and recruitment
- Onboarding and induction of new employees at all sites
- Ensuring all contractual documentation is issued and induction processes are documented
- Providing content for Toolbox meetings that are HR or RTW related
- Ensuring HR practices align with all relevant legislation
- Promoting a values-aligned, inclusive culture through coaching, leadership development, and policy implementation
- Deliver HR related training or contribute to the context of such training
- Deliver efficient and effective injury management and return to work processes
- Maintain and report on injury and compensation claims
- Support workers to recover and RTW for both work related and non-work-related injuries
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a HRBP or similar - you must be a qualified RTW Coordinator
- Strong background in employment law compliance
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, and Modern Award application and the Return-to-Work Act
- Resilience, professionalism, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work alone and manage your own outcomes
- Ability to manage a busy workload and liaise with senior managers to influence outcomes
Key requirements
- You are skilled in multitasking and can effectively manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- You demonstrate high emotional intelligence and a collaborative working style that fosters engagement and trust among colleagues and leaders
- You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach to execution
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Injury Management and Return to Work case management including the ability to implement, maintain and monitor relevant systems
- Participate in workers' compensation reviews and provide regular reports to management
- High level proficiency in a range of computer-based applications including Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
