About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Support Worker to assist a client with a spinal cord injury, who requires support with personal care and specialized tasks related to a supra-pubic catheter (SPC) and bowel management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Catheter Care
  • Bowel Management
  • Skin and Personal Care

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with SPC or similar catheter care is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong attention to hygiene, infection control, and skin integrity management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive tasks with respect and maintain a high standard of personal care.
  • Empathy, reliability, and excellent communication skills to support the client's needs and provide quality care.
