Back on Track is looking for an experienced Rehabilitation Consultant - OT, psychologist, rehab counsellor, physio or EP. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team delivering rehab and return to work services for injured and ill workers, their employers and insurers. We work from our home offices, client's workplaces and our various clinic locations throughout Brisbane and surrounds.

Qualifications & experience

• AHPRA (physio, OT, psychologist), ASORC (rehab counsellor) or ESSA (ex phys) registered
• Preferred 3+ years experience in occupational rehabilitation. Essential 12+ months experience.
• Drivers' license and own car
• Essential - strong interpersonal and written communication skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Worksite assessments
• Suitable duties plans
• Initial needs assessment
• Case management and support of injured and ill workers in their recovery and return to work
• Provide opinion and formal written reports on treatment, progress and work capacity
• Liaise with doctors, treatment providers, employers and insurers
• Transferable skills assessment, employability assessment, labour market analysis, vocational counselling, job seeking skills development (rehab counsellors only)
• Injury prevention initiatives eg. IRRI projects, psychosocial risk management, health promotion education (depending on discipline and experience)
