Medical Workforce Support Officer

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time / Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time / Part Time and Casual appointments. Fixed Term and Casual appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 28 February 2026.

What is our Medical Workforce Support Officer role?
This position provides administrative and secretarial support and assistance to the Manager Medical Workforce, Senior Medical Workforce Officers and Medical Workforce Officers; undertakes the administrative functions for the SCGOPHCG Medical Workforce (MWF) team in relation to onboarding, ongoing compliance monitoring and governance, rotational allocations, and reception.

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) is one of Australia's leading teaching tertiary hospitals. Located at the Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre 4km from Perth city centre, SCGH provides a comprehensive range of clinical services including trauma, emergency and critical care, orthopaedics, general medicine, general surgery, and cardiac care. It is home to WA's only comprehensive cancer centre - the largest cancer treatment centre in the State - and is the State's principal hospital for neurosurgery and liver transplants.

Osborne Park Hospital (OPH) provides specialist health care services for the community in the north metropolitan area and is located in Stirling, 14 kilometres from the Perth central business district. The hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist health care services for the north metropolitan suburbs.
