Marketing Manager - Fremantle Foundation

The position of Marketing Manager is a casual role responsible for the branding and promotion of the Fremantle Foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage our overall Marketing Strategy, as well as social media schedules across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Capture, curate and schedule engaging, consistent content regularly
  • Contribute to the Annual Impact Report
  • Create and distribute regular newsletters to donors
  • Assist with event planning and execution
  • Design Fremantle Foundation branded collateral, where directed

Key Selection Criteria

  • Graphic design experience
  • Excellent writing skills - can write compelling copy for eDMs, website and socials
  • Promotion across digital platforms
  • Event coordination experience
  • Strong and dependable planning, administration, and organisation skills
  • Impressive communication skills
  • Proficient with using apple products, Office, Gmail, Google Drive, social media, website content management and graphic design software (Canva or Adobe suite)
  • CRM experience will be well regarded
  • The ability to translate an existing strategic communications plan into weekly marketing activity that stays true to brand voice and sentiment
  • Ability to collate marketing results from reporting across multiple channels
  • Meta business suite

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Content capture, creation and editing using tools such as Adobe Premier, Capcut
  • First-hand experience with non-profit organizations
  • SM scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Later, Sked etc)
  • Electronic mail management (Mailchimp, Brevo etc)

Support

The opportunity includes mentoring and support from the EO and a Board with skills and experience across many sectors, whilst a national and international network of community foundations are available for guidance and inspiration.

Commitment

The commitment is casual with approximately 2 half days per week required, with possibility of expansion of those hours during busy periods. We have a flexible approach to work and can accommodate a mix of working from home and in the office.
