About us:

• we're a modern Australian brunch cafe located in Kooringal, Wagga Wagga NSW (you can find our current menu on our website at )
• we're open 6 days a week, Mon-Fri 7-2 & Sat 8-1 (closed Sun)
• we're quickly becoming known for delicious food, incredibly friendly service & awesome coffee

What we hunting for:

• a chef or experienced cook to join our busy cafe kitchen team of 2 chef's (1 owner/head chef and 1 sous) to share in the responsibilities of our kitchen operation on a rotating roster (30+ hours per week)

About you:

• you have a genuine love for food and the hospitality industry, with all of its challenges and silver linings
• you understand that the nature of this job includes times of high pressure and stress, but you can always approach it with a positive attitude, calmness and clarity
• you've worked in a busy kitchen environment before and are confident in your ability to hold your own
• you're able to multi task between different sections of the kitchen, including service, prep & dishes
• we make and bake almost every thing from scratch, so you'll bring a solid understanding of all basic cooking techniques with a strong ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently
• you take a lot of pride in your work and naturally operate with a high level of organisation and cleanliness
• you enjoy having to do the washing up and understand that it is and always will be a necessary part of the job
• you enjoy interacting with customers and delivering friendly customer service, as you'll have to assist with running and serving as required
• you have a great sense of humour
