Steele Steel is a manufacturing business regionally based out of West Wyalong, NSW. Long known for our quality & reputable agricultural machinery we're currently looking to expand our team. We're seeking an experienced and qualified Welder to come join our team, this will be a Fulltime Position.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess the following skills and abilities.

  • Must be experienced in MIG welding

  • Can weld vertically, horizontally and overhead.

  • Be able to weld various metal thicknesses

  • Cut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies.

  • Heat treats metal parts and components

  • Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment.

  • Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding, bolting or riveting.

  • Finish products by cleaning, sanding, filing or by applying protective or decorative coatings.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Welding Fabrication) or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum of three years' experience in this role or similar

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Salary range / wages are paid based on experience. To be successful in this role you require a minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
