We are seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our team at Phoenix Contact Pty Ltd in the Eastern Creek, NSW location. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, utilising your expertise in welding and fabrication to contribute to the creation of quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding and fabrication tasks to a high standard, ensuring all work meets required specifications and safety standards
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents to guide your work
  • Operate various welding equipment and machinery with care and precision
  • Assist with the assembly and production of a range of metal parts and components
  • Conduct routine maintenance and basic repairs on tools and equipment
  • Collaborate with the broader production team to efficiently complete projects
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualifications in welding or fabrication, such as a Certificate III or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience as a Welder Fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
