For over 60 years, Borcat Trailers P/L has been a trusted leader in the design and manufacture of heavy vehicle trailers. Their range includes 3, 4 & 5 axle dogs, A & B-double semi-trailers as well as Rigid bogie, 8 and 10-wheeler truck bodies.

Our client, is seeking a skilled Welder/Metal Fabricator to join their established team and contribute to the production of high-quality, lightweight aluminium trailers. If you are a reliable, experienced welder/metal fabricator with a passion for craftsmanship and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you

Key Requirements:

  • Proficient in aluminium welding – must have a strong understanding of welding techniques and materials.
  • At least 2-years of welding experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with relevant skills and experience will also be considered.
  • Heavy vehicle building experience is a bonus but not essential.
  • Possess the ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Punctuality and reliability are a must – we value team members who show up on time and consistently produce excellent work.
  • 38-hour week with overtime available.

Responsibilities:

  • Weld aluminium components to assemble heavy vehicle trailers.
  • Follow detailed drawings and work orders, and ensure specifications are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
