Who We Are:

Trinity Beach Sports Club provides a fantastic entertainment venue for the northern beaches community. Our facilities include: "The 5th Quarter" restaurant, a fantastic children's area, a huge outdoor area overlooking the football field and a comfortable gaming machine room.

Our club is located north of the Cairns CBD and our preference is candidates who live locally or have their own transport.

We now have a vacancy for a full-time Chef to join our busy kitchen. You will be working in a renovated kitchen environment, within a friendly and vibrant team

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus ensuring a high level of quality and presentation is achieved at all times according to agreed standards
  • Provide input for menu updates and specials
  • Assists in monitoring & controlling stock levels
  • Assist Head Chef in maintaining all procedures and practices
  • Foster sound relationships with front-of-house staff and kitchen staff

What you will need

  • Strong food knowledge and Commercial Cookery qualification
  • Excellent cooking skills and overall technical expertise
  • Reliable with a bright and positive attitude
  • To be available nights, weekends and public holidays
