About the role

Moustache Wine Bar is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team at our Mermaid Beach location. As a casual role, this position offers the flexibility to work around your schedule while being part of an energetic and creative culinary environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing high-quality, innovative dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  • Ensuring efficient and organised food preparation and service
  • Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
  • Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive work culture
  • Assisting with kitchen operations and inventory management as required

What we're looking for

  • Formal culinary training or relevant work experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating memorable dining experiences
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • A collaborative and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to upholding high food safety and quality standards
