Your New Role
Your role as Capital Works Coordinator has been created as a reflection of the organisation's true commitment to providing industry leading campuses and facilities across Australia.
You will support the delivery of capital works across the organisation's sites nationally. Bringing your project/contracts administration experience, key aspects of your role will include:
- Oversee the planning, coordination and delivery of capital works projects
- Monitor and track project budgets and forecasts at both programme and campus level
- Coordinate and review capital works approval documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Lead procurement processes for capital works contracts, including drafting and issuing tenders, negotiating contract terms and facilitating contract award
- Develop and maintain capital works schedules, programmes and tracking tools.

Your Experience
Along with your understanding of capital works delivery, construction process and project lifecycle management, you will bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, construction, engineering, architecture or a related field
- Experience in contracts administration or project management/coordination for construction projects (circa 3-5 years)
- Demonstrated capability in budget management, forecasting and reporting
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with the ability to influence and resolve issues
