Lead the operations of the Gippsland Regional Sports Complex

As the Operations Leader, you'll be at the helm of ensuring our
sports complex runs smoothly. From maintaining top-tier facilities to creating
a first-class guest experience, your leadership will shape the heart of our
sports and leisure scene.

Responsibilities:

• Lead with impact: Guide our dynamic team to deliver world-class customer service
  and flawless operations. You'll be the go-to for setting the tone and inspiring
  excellence every day.
• Be a master coordinator: Plan, manage, and deliver sports and leisure activities that'll
  keep the community coming back for more. You'll be the genius behind programs
  that keep both locals and visitors engaged and active.
• Collaborate & build relationships: Whether it's
  with sports groups, community leaders, or stakeholders, you'll foster
  partnerships that elevate the entire facility and the experiences it offers.
• Team management: Guide and support our team of Sport Court Operators, ensuring
  smooth operations, happy guests, and a positive workplace culture.
• Innovate & improve: Implement strategies that increase participation and boost the
  sports complex's profile as the go-to place for all things fun and fitness in
  the region.

About You:

• Leadership Skills: You've led teams before and have a knack for creating a
  collaborative, positive environment. Your leadership style is all about
  empowering people and fostering a strong team spirit.
• Experience & Knowledge: You've got the background and/or
  qualifications; whether it's in sports facility management, stadium operations,
  business management or a related field.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: From sports programs to events to casual visits, you create a quality
  experience that leaves a lasting impression.
• Organisational Skills: Juggling multiple tasks? No problem You excel at managing
  deadlines, budgets, and team schedules. Planning? That's your superpower.
• Communication Skills: Whether you're liaising with the community, negotiating with
  partners, or rallying your team, you've got top-notch communication skills that
  help you get things done efficiently and effectively.
