Sale Motor Group is entering an exciting new era. Under new management and driven by a fresh, positive culture, we're rebuilding our dealership into a high-performing, customer-first operation. We are now seeking an experienced and energetic General Sales Manager to lead our New & Used Vehicle departments and play a key role in shaping the future of SMG.

About the Role

As our General Sales Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the entire sales division (New & Used Vehicles)
  • Drive a revitalised culture built on professionalism, teamwork and accountability
  • Manage enquiry, sales processes, stock control and team performance
  • Develop and mentor staff to lift capability and consistency
  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint
  • Work closely with new management to deliver our strategic vision and growth plans
About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Proven leadership experience as a Sales Manager or General Sales Manager (automotive preferred)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of sales management experience
  • Mandatory automotive industry sales management experience
  • Strong people management and coaching skills
  • The ability to build a high-performance culture
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and closing ability
  • A strategic mindset with a hands-on leadership style
  • A passion for delivering standout customer service
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency status
