The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced National Sales Manager to lead our domestic sales function during a pivotal phase of transformation and growth.
As a member of the Domestic Leadership Team, and with executive backing, you'll be responsible for leading our sales & partnerships teams, and BDMs, embedding stronger processes, and ensuring consistent achievement of enrolment and revenue targets across the business.
This is a hands-on leadership role - you'll be in the detail of pipelines, coaching live calls for our Learning Consultants, supporting BDMs on key employer accounts, and instilling the accountability, structure, and culture required for sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Domestic Leadership Team to develop and execute sales strategies and plans.
- Translate strategy into daily execution, ensuring alignment and accountability across the team.
- Lead, coach, and mentor the sales team, building a high-performance, outcomes-focused culture.
- Embed scalable sales processes, CRM discipline, and reporting frameworks.
- Support BDMs with employer engagement and key account management.
- Represent NextEd in the market with employers, industry bodies, and government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with RTO standards, funding requirements, and ethical sales practices.
- Continuously improve sales tools, playbooks, and methodologies.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of B2C sales team leadership experience is required.
- Strong track record of achieving targets and delivering growth.
- Hands-on leader, confident coaching live and staying close to the pipeline.
- Skilled in embedding process, CRM discipline, and reporting frameworks.
- Strong commercial acumen – able to translate sales activity into accurate sales reports and insights on activity, pipeline, and outcomes.
- Resilient, pragmatic, and commercially astute.
- Experience with B2B business development, key accounts and employer partnerships desirable.
- Background in education or NextEd's serviced industries (healthcare, childcare, disability, hospitality, IT/interactive media) preferred but not essential.
