About The Role

Based at our Preston Head Office, this role is central to the smooth operation of our Accounts Payable function. You'll be responsible for managing and processing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and timeliness. As part of a supportive and collaborative finance team, you'll ensure payments are compliant, reconciliations are completed, and reporting is delivered efficiently—all while maintaining strong internal controls.

Role Responsibilities

  • Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions
  • Ensure payments are aligned with trading terms and properly authorised
  • Reconcile supplier statements and generate monthly reports
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Accounts Payable Officer
  • Proficient in Accounting Software Packages
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail and results-driven mindset
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Self-motivated with a collaborative team spirit
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
