Our Banking and Financial Services Treasury team supports several critical functions, including Funding, Liquidity, Interest Rate Risk Management, Capital, Provisioning, and Risk Modelling. Working in close collaboration with the Product, Credit, Data and Technology Platforms, and Regulatory Reporting teams, we optimise business opportunities within clearly understood and acceptable risk parameters.
We offer opportunities for both permanent and contract positions for this role.

What role will you play?
As a Data and automation Specialist, you will play a key role in leveraging data and automation (including AI) to drive business solutions. Your work will inform and influence key decisions, enhance data-driven decision-making, and improve processes across the team. You will have the opportunity to implement new models, explore ways to improve data quality, and share knowledge to embed best practices within the organisation.
What You Offer
- 3+ years of experience in an engineering role, ideally within banking or financial services
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong programming experience in one of R, Python, C++, or similar languages
- A strong educational background in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Git version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) and a passion for exploring AI toolsets to fast-track effective solutions
- Strong communication skills, business analysis capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to engage effectively with stakeholders and team members.
