Your New Role
We have an 18-month max-term contract opportunity for an experienced marketing automation specialist to join the Member Experience & Marketing team. As a Marketing Automation Consultant, you'll deliver marketing automation initiatives aligned with strategic goals and legislative needs across the Fund.
You'll implement industry best practices in automation journeys and single sends, utilising channels such as email, SMS and more to enhance member experiences. You'll bring your thought-leadership, influencing skills and expertise to help shape marketing automation solutions, journeys and creative executions, and collaborate with technology teams to extend Marketo's data availability and drive greater maturity.
In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in advancing the Fund's mission to help members achieve their best retirement outcomes. Your strategic insight and collaborative spirit will shape briefs, drive innovation and continuous improvement, ensuring our marketing automation initiatives remain impactful and future focused.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and document customer journeys and single-sends, embedding best practices and leveraging past-learnings.
- Contribute thought-leadership and expertise to shape journeys and optimise communication experiences, aligning marketing automation activity with business goals.
- End-to-end cross-channel journey build and asset development (including email, SMS, landing pages), test/QA and ongoing maintenance.
- Build and execute segmented, business-critical batch email and SMS campaigns.
- Ensure marketing automation activities meet brand, compliance, risk, privacy & security requirements.
- Work closely with CRM & technical delivery teams to ensure that the marketing automation platform has the data, capability and processes needed to support engagement and growth.
- Minimum five years of experience in a Marketing Automation role, ideally within financial services industry.
- Marketo experience preferred.
- Solid experience working with customer data, knowledge of data architecture/models & safe handling of data.
- Significant experience interpreting briefs and aligning business needs to technical solutions in marketing automation platforms.
- Ability to communicate with technical stakeholders and marketing/business areas to reach common understanding.
- Engagement skills that reflect a professional, collaborate and collegiate approach.
- Excellent attention to detail.
