This client requires a skilled
AI and Automation Specialist
to drive their digital transformation
programme
. You will be instrumental in identifying high-impact automation opportunities in areas like claims processing and underwriting, designing robust
RPA
(Robotic Process Automation) solutions, and integrating cutting-edge
AI/Cognitive Services
(such as natural language processing and computer vision) to create scalable, end-to-end automated workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Lead process discovery and analysis
    to identify, scope, and prioritize high-value automation opportunities across the client's operations, calculating clear business value and ROI.
  • Design, develop, and deploy
    resilient software robots using a leading RPA platform (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere) to handle high-volume, rules-based tasks.
  • Integrate AI and cognitive services
    (e.g., machine learning models, OCR/ICR, chatbots) into automated workflows to handle unstructured data and complex decision-making.
  • Architect and govern
    the automation environment, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and comply with the client's regulatory requirements.
  • Develop custom scripts and components
    (e.g., in Python or C#) to extend the capabilities of RPA bots and facilitate complex system integrations.
  • Monitor and maintain
    deployed automation assets, proactively troubleshooting issues and
    optimising
    bot performance to maximise uptime and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely
    with business process owners and IT teams to transition solutions from development to production and ensure successful user adoption.

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of professional experience in an automation or process
    optimisation
    role.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience and certification with a major
    RPA platform
    (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
  • Proven experience integrating
    cognitive services
    or machine learning APIs (e.g., Azure AI, AWS Comprehend) into business processes.
  • Strong analytical and process mapping skills, with the ability to define business requirements and convert them into clear, technical design documentation.
  • Proficiency in a relevant programming language (e.g.,
    Python
    or C#) for custom development and integration.
  • Experience with deployment, governance, and monitoring tools related to enterprise-scale automation
    programmes
    .
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of presenting complex technical solutions to non-technical business leaders.
