In the role of AMCO, you will be responsible for:

- Liaising directly with the airline's operations and load control teams to ensure the clear and accurate communication of relevant information.
- Working with other key SWAS team members to manage resources and communications in the event of delays and cancellations, and to ensure the effective and smooth continuation of operations on behalf of the airline and passengers.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Inspect and verify passenger documentation and identification.
- Check passengers in and issue boarding passes.
- Process the boarding of passengers, finalise passenger paperwork, deliver paperwork to cabin crew, and confirm final passenger count prior to doors close.
- Communicate by radio with flight and cabin crew as required and under conditions of an AROC (Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate).
The successful applicant should:
- Be able to follow procedures precisely and consistently.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
- Understand that safety and security are of the highest priority.
- Be calm and confident whilst working in high pressure situations.
- Have the ability to work autonomously and meet strict time constraints.
- Possess good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Display good computer literacy skills.
- Present professionally with a positive approach and attitude.
- Demonstrate an ability to contribute positively to a strong, open, and supportive team ethos.
- Be available to work any shifts as rostered according to flight schedules, which might fall on any day of the week.
- Display a level of fitness necessary to lift 32kg unassisted.
- Undertake a full pre-employment medical and be willing to be screened for drug and alcohol use as required.
- Be willing to undertake Federal Police clearance checks.
