About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join our team at Alinta Energy, playing a key role in the development of the Reeves Plains Energy Hub, located north of Adelaide. This exciting project aims to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day on-site supervision of contractor and sub-contractor groups to ensure that the construction of a large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) is delivered according to established time, cost, quality, and compliance standards. Your leadership will be crucial in monitoring project progress and maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders. You will advocate for Alinta Energy's safety culture, relentlessly pursuing a zero-harm environment while implementing effective project management practices.

What you'll do

• Supervise day-to-day operations of contractor and sub-contractor groups, ensuring compliance with design, technical, and quality standards.
• Implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, demonstrating leadership in safety culture and practices.
• Monitor project progress against contractual obligations, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
• Prepare non-conformance reports for deviations from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Foster strong relationships with project personnel, contractors, and maintenance teams to facilitate effective project delivery.

Your experience

• Trade qualification in a construction-related discipline.
• Proven supervisory skills and experience in contract administration and supervision.
• Demonstrated field leadership on major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HSE compliance and regulatory obligations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build productive relationships in a team environment.
