Liverpool Women's Health Centre has been supporting women for more than 50 years. We provide accessible, holistic, trauma-informed health and wellbeing services to women across South Western Sydney. Our centre is a place where women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds can receive care without judgement, with dignity, and with real support.

About the Role

The Client Services Officer ensures the smooth, professional, and welcoming operation of our reception and front-of-house services. You will be responsible for:

  • Creating a warm, safe, and inclusive environment for all women who contact or visit the Centre.
  • Being the first point of contact through phone, email, and drop-in inquiries.
  • Providing trauma-informed information, intake, triage, and referral.
  • Coordinating appointments, group bookings, and practitioner schedules using MD Helix, Outlook, Esendex, and other systems.
  • Managing reception operations including pathology/courier coordination, cash handling, and daily opening/closing procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records using WHNSW, MD Helix, and other databases.
  • Supporting staff with basic IT and data management troubleshooting during quieter periods.
  • Upholding our high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural safety.

You will work closely with our clinical and counselling teams to ensure every woman receives timely, respectful, and appropriate support.

What You Will Bring

Essential

  • Experience thriving in a busy, client-focused environment with competing demands.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic records systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with vulnerable women from diverse cultural, linguistic, and socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Experience using medical or community-sector client record systems (e.g., MD Helix, Medical Director, Microsoft Access).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem-solving ability, and lateral thinking.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • High levels of energy, reliability, resilience, and adaptability.
  • A demonstrated commitment to feminist principles, women's health, and trauma-informed practice.
Desirable
  • Experience with intake, assessment, and triage in a community setting.
  • Knowledge of the South Western Sydney service landscape.
  • Ability to speak an additional language.
